Blogosphere Storytelling

Authored by Michael Pate on May 23rd, 2003 at 3:12 PM

A blogosphere story that gets branded with a keyword, like ‘googlewashed’ or ‘second superpower’ is observable in total through searching in Google on that word. Some of the notable stories of the last few months include: ‘googlewashed’ (750 posts), ‘second superpower’ (684 posts), ‘Microsoft iLoo’ (2,210 posts). Stories with a keyword get branded easily and are carried by the most bloggers. Stories without a keyword branding it tend to be more closed and do not involve quite as many people. - Microdoc News
