Leaving Puerto Rico

Authored by Michael Pate on July 29th, 2003 at 2:31 PM

Puerto Ricans have learned the hard way to be careful what they wish for. The firing range at Vieques has been shut down, and now the naval base, which was basically there only for training purposes, is shutting down, taking huge gobs of money with it. Take a way the only reason a place exists and there’s no point leaving it open for business. - Lummox JR
