Lies, Damned Lies and WMD

Appearing on Meet the Press, Powell acknowledged—finally!—that he and the Bush administration misled the nation about the WMD threat posed by Iraq before the war. - David Corn

Okay, I admit it. There was never any WMD in Iraq. It was a lie perpetrated by the Germans and spread by guys like Scott Ritter and Hans Blix. Oops. Hold on for this announcement.

A roadside bomb containing sarin nerve agent recently exploded near a U.S. military convoy, the U.S. military said Monday. Bush administration officials told Fox News that mustard gas was also recently discovered. - Fox News

Oh, never mind.
