Bush, Reagan and JFK

Ronald Reagan says George Bush is a liar.

But George W. Bush and his administration have taken “normal” mendacity to a startling new level far beyond lies of convenience. On top of the usual massaging of public perception, they traffic in big lies, indulge in any number of symptomatic small lies, and, ultimately, have come to embody dishonesty itself. He apparently does not feel the same way about the man who says his father was a criminal.

I tend not to worry much about the political opinion best known for appearing on Saturday Night Live in his underwear. And whose understanding of scientific research could best be described as lacking.

It must be rough to know that you are the child of two successful parents, have three siblings who have each found success in one way or another, and find your only asset is the name your parents gave you which you devalue more and more each day.
