Reaching out to Sane Extraterrestrials

Authored by Michael Pate on October 5th, 2004 at 5:07 PM

With their campaign faltering about traditional Democratic strongholds like Women, Catholics and residents of New Jersey, the Kerry-Edwards campaign is being highly creative in trying to broaden their base. One idea is to try to appeal to the non-insane vote.

I’d say if you live in the United States of America and you vote for George Bush, you’ve lost your mind. - John Edwards

Meanwhile, his running mate has decided to clear up the confusion over UN approval over his actions. That is no longer required. Instead, he has now pledged to seek approval from the United Federation of Planets.

The test I was talking about is a test of legitimacy — not just in the globe, but elsewhere. - John Kerry

I am wonder whether this means that John Kerry will be voting for George W. Bush next month.
